Instagram Obsession

Since I added my Instagram feed to my sidebar, I haven’t done an Instagram Obsession post, so I thought I would do a round-up post today of some of my favorites from the past few months. A lot of times my Instagram photos end up being some of my all-time favorite photos. It’s still my favorite app and my go-to way to share photos with friends and family.

Some of these you may have seen in other posts, but some of them you haven’t. Enjoy!

It appears that I’m really into black and white images lately! I also noticed that there are way more of Harper than Hudson. It’s probably because I take some while he’s at school. *Note to self-Take more photos of Hudson*

I haven’t really posted as many photos as usual because we’ve mostly just been hiding out in the house trying to stay warm and being pretty boring, but once Spring decides to make an appearance I’ll be back to my regular Instagraming.

See you tomorrow. I’ll be sharing our frame gallery that we hung around our tv.

I had big plans for project posts this week, but life got in the way and I haven’t gotten a chance to finish, let alone photograph my projects. But I promise that I will be posting them next week!

So instead, I thought I’d post my recent and favorite Instagrams. It’s been a while and I have some good ones!

I think this might be my all-time favorite.IMG_8198IMG_8218IMG_8241IMG_8257IMG_8343IMG_8361IMG_8395IMG_8437IMG_8458IMG_8502

Some of the highlights were Hudson catching his very first fish, Harper eating her first ice cream cone (well the first time she had one all to herself) and going to the first Nebraska game of the season with one of my BFF’s, Rachael. (Oh my was it hot! which explains my appearance! ha!)

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted my Instagrams. I was using Dropbox to transfer photos from my phone and realized that it wasn’t transferring my Instagrams. Dang it. It’s possible I may have deleted some of them from my phone before realizing it too. I hate when things like that happen. The good news is that I usually take the photos with my phone camera and then upload them to Instagram, so I at least still have the originals. Phew.

This month we tried Cronuts for the first time. It’s a cross between a doughnut and a crousant. It was pretty amazing, but kind of expensive. It will probably have to be one of those things we get once in a while.

We also celebrated our anniversary, made pesto pasta with our own basil and had a tea party with the kids.

Summer, you are awesome.

This one is a little blurry, but it was his first time trying gum. I had told him a long time ago that he could try it after he turned 4. He was excited, but it turned out not to be as awesome as he thought it would be. He spit it out after about 2 minutes. He hasn’t asked for it again.IMG_6863IMG_6872IMG_6925IMG_6930IMG_6954IMG_7020IMG_7035IMG_7047IMG_7063

If there’s one thing you learn from looking at these photos, it’s that we like donuts. Okay, maybe you’ll learn two things…we like donuts and I’m obsessed with my kids. I just think they’re really cute.

I hope you’re having a great start to your week.
